The goal of Counseling and Psychological Services is to assist in the development and maintenance of a positive and healthy university community. In order to do this, we provide a variety of psychological services, prevention, and educational programming that promotes personal well-being and success. CAPS has a professional staff of psychologists, clinical social workers, and licensed professional counselors trained to work with college students. Students can call or stop by to make an appointment to see an individual counselor, join a group, or join a workshop. CAPS is here to support students' goals and personal development.
The Division of Community Education Program was founded in 1969 on the premise that students possessing potential and desire can succeed academically when provided a network of comprehensive programs and services to assist them. As a broad-based educational access program, DCE was established to serve both recent high school graduates and mature adults, from the point of admissions processing to the culmination of transfer to other schools/colleges within the university.
